Default Fired up for the 1st time today

Man I am so stoked, I fired up the impala today. Fired without a hiccup on the first try! Man that feels good to have the concern out of the way. Knowing the computer, harness, and fuel system are good to go.

But I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who contribute to this board. The knowledge here, made it a wonderful project!

Here the latest pic I have.

Wow, congratulations. That is a sa-weet ride, what a great car. You are going to love the LS power! Any more pictures or a build log?

I know your feeling. It is a great step in a project to fire it up the first time.

Great looking car, going to run good.

I have a butt-load of pics but no "log". I will post some more hopefully by the end of this week of some near completion. I want to try to have the interior done this week, or pretty darn close.

Friday I was going to get the rear end finished, but I was sent the wrong ring, pinion and install kit, DOH! So I await the arrival of the new parts,
Plus the shifter should be here this week, then I can log a short trip around my building.

Man there are so many little things that you really don't account for when doing a build. Nothing bad but it is a lesson learned.

Maybe next year when my wallet refills itself, I will throw on some turbos.
