Thats what you use to permanetly clear engine codes and turn off skip shift? thats the cord you use with your laptop right>?>?

autotap is only a scanner... it can not modify the PCM. In order to permanently turn codes off you need a tuner cable such as HP Tuners or EFI Live. See stickies concerning these as well as other choices available.
