Default how to clean/repair swirl marks on tail lights?

hey i was just wondering: how to clean the tail lights? mine is all swirl marked up, streaked up and kind of dull looking... how do i get her to shine like new and be flawless? thanks!!

buff them if you have a buffer, but if not some plastix or w.e its called works too. it would take a bit more elbow grease but it eventually gets the job done, i used it on my rear filler panel.

I have used 2000 grit paper, and then buffed them out with compound, followed by polish and a wax. Makes them look really sharp, and it does remove the scratches.

The Tropi-Care TC-8 Swirl Cutter works great on plastic. I have detailed many F-bodies and restored the tail lights with a couple passes of the buffer.

if you have a PC, you can do it that way, like Chris mentioned..

if you don't have a PC, then get some Megiuar's PlastX, and follow the instructions .. should fix yoru problem ..

if they are extremely damaged, then I would suggest wet sanding with Micromesh.. does a beter job than sandpaper.
