Default We know 4* advance works, but what about...

We know 4 degrees of advance works as there are a number of famous cams from our sponsors using 4 degrees advance. But what about using 5 or 6 degrees of advance?

In thinking about using a 228/228 115, using 5 degrees of advance would get me right at 44* ABDC on the intake timing. Not a huge difference in 1 degree of advance (4 vs. 5) but is there anything that makes 4 degrees the magical cut-off point?

Joel,

As you know, it's all about getting the ideal intake closing point. By advancing your future cam 5 degrees, it will have an ideal intake closing point of 44 degrees ADBC. You will really like the combination.
