Default Pick me out drag radials for my wheels!

Yes I am looking to invest in a set of drag radials.

I plan on putting them on my Y2K C5 wheels.

My rear wheels are 18" Y2K's. Currently the tires are 275/40/18.

I was wondering what is the maxium correct width I can run on these wheels safely. I'm unsure on how wide the wheel actually is.

I've had BFG Drag Radials in the past and I'd perfer not to use them again.

This car is not driven in the rain (unless I get caught in it), so I'm pretty open to any type of drag radial that would work good on the streets.

Thanks in advance!

run a nitto drag. they do really well in the rain. alot better than my regular tires did. only problem is they only make them in a 285/35/18

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too concerned with rain really - no big deal.

Ok - so Nitto makes a DR for the 18s. Would there be a better choice for maxium traction? The car only gets driven about 3,000 miles a year.

MT ET Street Radial. Even if you had to go down to 17" wheels.

if your looking for maximum traction just get a set of extra wheels for the rear and slap some et streets on there, other than that i cut 1.7 60 ft's on 17 nittos so theyre not too bad
