Default Any Exp. w/ Carteks stage 2x or LS6 2x?

It seems to me the numbers coming out of Carteks heads (2x aprox 430 rwhp and LS^2x 450ish) are some kick but numbers. I have friends that have them and the numbers are real with basic other mods. My question is do other guys heads (i.e. Absolute or some CNC ported) end up with the same numbers? From most of the posts I read they seem quite a bit shy (not all, some out there with these have killer #s). What Im gettin at here is saving some bucks and trying to gauge why Carteks seem to really give higher numbers. If they don't I want to hear that especially. Lets get it goin'.

Bottom line is that Cartek has MANY hours of dyno and track testing to make there packages. It was only a year and a half ago when there Stage 2 package was running high 11's! Now we are into the 10's and it's not just one isolated car either. Julio is a master of combinations.

One factor that everyone overlooks is there tuning capability. There packages need to be tuned properly to make those big numbers.

Well worth the investment if you want the power!

Be careful "Benchracing" by Dyno numbers. Numbers will vary from dyno to dyno even when SAE corrected. A better indication is Trap speed, all of the good head vendors seem to be putting out around the same trap speed with comprable setups. Cartek, MTI, ARE, all have H/C setups that have gone into the 123-125 MPH range. I believe that the others like JPR, TEA, and Absolute speed put out just as good of a product as well.

Bench racing

How about our ZO6 going 11.04 @ 125 with a 1.57 60'!!

Ou 99 coupe C5 goes 11.50's @ 123.

Both cars consistently turn those trap speeds.
