Arrow I need a 96/97 crank hub(GM national back order)PLEASE

First ovall i know that im not in the "WANTED" forum and im sorry to use the "LT1 TECH" one but im kinda really stuck right now

I ve bought a brand new LT4 crate engine from GM(the last one before they discontinued it last month) i also bought every small sensor, bolts, brackets, pulley, etc.

But i cant install it,im putting this motor in my 95 bird and the stock 95 crank hub wont align correctly with the other pulley since its too long for a 96/97 ltyx base setup,it measure 3.516".

The 96/97 ltx base used a crank sensor with a reluctor ring that is squeeze between the crank gear and the crank hub.The crank hub was slightly shorter(3.417") to let some space for the reluctor ring.

I called gm and they told me that the hub was on national back order dor the past 4 month and no release date was available

I cant seems to find one and now after 20k spent on the car i cannot complete the the install and finally take a ride

So if you got a crank hub from a 96/97 ltx base could you just send me a pm.If you dont know if the one you got is a 93/95 one or a 96/97 one here are the length measure:

-93/95 crank hub lenght: 3.516"

-96/97 crank hub lenght: 3.417"

I need the 3.417" one.

Im begging for help please

Again sorry to use the tech forum.

Thank you

Shouldn't be too hard to find a used one. I see hubs on Ebay all the time. Surely a 96+ could pop up soon.

I'd say check ebay they should have one sooner or later, that sucks that you can't get it done soon!

Dude! Problem solved. Best place to go. They have them, and they are keyed and aftermarket, just ordered one, great part! Thing bolts right up no problems and is better than the stock one. Give them a call and ask for a Powerbond LT1/LT4 Crankshaft Keyed Hub
