Default How much for alignment?

I was quoted $334 . I walked out laughing. I just changed the struts out in the front. The car seems to be pretty straight but am sure it needs the alignment. The guy behind the counter said to do it right it would cost that much because of 3 hrs of labor. Is this crazy? IMO this should be an $80 deal, max.

Had to get mine aligned after I ran over a piece of metal in the road. Ruined my left front wheel and left rear wheel. An alignment at the dealership was $75.00.

They are trying to rip you a new one.

$75 by an independent shop that specializes in doing only suspension work - In business for 25+ years... Aligned to my specifications as well. If anyone is in So. Calif. or lives in "the OC" and needs an alignment, PM me and I'll forward you the info. on this shop.
