Prove which cam is best with Stage 2 heads!
I plan on getting Absolute Speed Stage 2 heads, I have seen some great numbers with both the TR 230/224 and the MTI X1. Who has the dyno numbers or track times to help decide which is "best"? Please post your results. If you have another cam with Stage 2 heads, please post your results as well.

You will need a cam matched to your heads. Talk with Absolute about cam selection. Since port work, valve jobs, flow, swirl, I/E ratios etc differ between heads done by different vendors there is no single best cam for all heads or all needs.
What you want to do with the car will be just as important in deciding the right cam for you as heads will be.
The supporting bolt on's will play a role too.

Jay at Absolute Speed is pushing the TR224 112LSA. That is what I bought and a few other member bought as well. They are putting down some good numbers down at the track and on the dyno.

Mine's probably bigger than most people would like to run, but the power is there, especially through a 9" Ford with 4.71 gears and a BIG 3.5" steel Driveshaft <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
