Default Whats the BEST way to remove SFC's?

They're BMR SFC's and they're not even put on very well. In fact, I think the welder burned some holes in the sheet metal, even after I told him to go slow and keep it cool.

Anyway, I want them off. never mind my reasons.

Should I pay someone to do it? Who should I get to do it? A welder/ fabrication shop? A body shop?

Should the job be done with a hacksaw? (I actually think it could be reasonably well done with a hack saw and some time and sweat) Should it be done with a grinder? Plasma cutter?

Thanks

Plasma cutter if you have access to one would be the best way.

I can't imagine doing it with a hacksaw; a plasma cutter would be the best by far. But it would be a bitch to try to cut through the welds, so you'll have to cut through the steel and leave the welded pad on - which will look like a sloppy mess. I wanted to cut mine off, but after investigating every possible way of doing it, I decided to leave them on.

Use a combination of cutting wheels and then a grinder to clean it up. I just welded mine on saturday, it made a huge difference, no way mine are coming off unless a cage goes in
