That second pic is just awesome. the first one looks like something out of a Independence Day when the aliens come to earth

I think the first one is a photoshopped because I remember seeing something very similar on a PS site a few years ago a guy brushed the tornado in and some of the clouds. The second one @ first glance id say definetly PS'ed but there have been some strange **** out there so who knows

Neither of them are photoshopped. In the first one, that is not a tornado, that is rain in a downburst. That is a classic Supercell.

The second one is Real also. The orange coloring on the bottom of the cumulus is city light effect.

Very cool.

The site is in the bottom of each picture. It is pretty interesting if you are into severe storms meteorology like myself.
