what would it take to run a Tremec TKO600 behind a 6.0L?

Default what would it take to run a Tremec TKO600 behind a 6.0L?

i'm a sbc guy, i don't know much about the ls1 stuff yet. what do i need to know to get a tko600 to go behind a 6.0L in a thirdgen?

hrmm...must be a pretty uncommon swap. anyone have any ideas?

There are bells available for that set up. The problem with a TKO is the old fashioned synchronizers. If you don't mind shift speeds at 4500 RPM , go for it. The TKO is lighter( and also lighter duty) and smaller than a T56 so there is a packaging advantage. Also the ratios offered with the TKO are different & limited be sure they fit your set up.

Lakewood scattershield, part# 15005. Do a search on jegs or summit for 15005. I don't have the clutch figured out yet.

For the clutch just get a howe hydraulic throwout bearing or Ram one and run a 4an line to an aftermarket master cylinder. Pretty easy
