Question NEED HELP!!! engine brite foamy engine cleaner

so i did the engine brite foamy clener on my ls1 this morning now stuff is turning white why? and how the hell do i stop it???

have you rinsed the stuff off yet? If that does not help contact the manufacturer. I can't help you much without knowing what the stuff is made out of.

I used the same stuff. Did you use it as a polish to when you were done cleaning. (leave a thin spray after rinsing it.) When I used it I just sprayed the hell out of the engine and let it sit for like 20-30 mins then rinsed it clean for about 10 making sure to soak everything that I sprayed. I was carefull not to spray the computer with the degreaser and took it easy around the fuel lines and stuff. I would try and rinse it off more. did you run the car after you were done for like 20 to burn all of the water and gunk off?

yeah i rinsed everything but when it dried it turned all the black stuff to a milky white i just got some mothers back to black and went to town on it its looking better....

That is very common with that particular cleaner. If it is not rinsed fully it will leave a white film across the engine. Does a great job but if not rinsed fully it can require some work to make it pretty.

yeah i got some mothers back to black it worked great
