Ok i have had 2 vehicles with a line level converter to hook up an amp to a factory head unit and both have bass surges and quiet spots in the same song, like hitting hard then soft and hard again on the same verse. What the hell causes that and is there anything i can do to fix it? The converter adjustable but it was set at 75% on both sides factory so i just left it alone when installing. Its just temp till i get the HU i want but still annoying as hell. Anyone have any info??
