are there any free mods that can be done to a vette or are they the same as in an f-body?

throttle body bypass although some don't believe it gains anything

open air filter mod (AKA) zip tie mod, remove the filter cover exposing the filter to more air.

how'z about adjustable suspension!!...
if you need some top end and want it to sound like a hog you could unbolt the stock mufflers and loose around 60lbs of weight... (I did thise once for about a 5min. trip down the road and back, stupid...)

the only thing that a tb bypass would gain for you is less heat so you dont loss hp. all the coolant is for is to warm the throttle body for cold start. once its warmed up you just have hot coolant goin through your tb. i did it to my 99 ss and id have to say it couldnt hurt.. just like a thermo.. if you live in hott weather it might be worth it.

One can also using the stock left spring bolts to lower the car about 1" safely. No need to buy a 'lowering' kit if you are not doing to drop it more than 1".
