PTV clearance - milled heads, V2 Cam, valves?
Howdy,
I am working on an engine for a friend. We don't know much about it's history, it has a lot of new aftermarket parts.
From calling SLP to find out about the heads: The heads are 241's that have been milled to 63.5 cc. I spoke with Texas Speed (great guys) and was told that a Torquer V2 (232/234 .595/.598 114) would be ok as far as PTV clearance goes. While changing the valve springs (heads have never been pulled on the motor) i noticed that it had Manley valves instead of the stock ones i was expecting.
My question: If the valves are oversized, how much of a difference will it make on PTV clearance?
Thanks,
James
