the stock ls7 cam is 230/231 .591/.591.
my stage 3 port and polished heads cam with the stock ls7 springs and retainers, and im looking to run the mti x1 DD, probably rev to 6500rpm. and it might possibly see a 100-150 shot.

X1 = Less Lift
Since the X1 cam has .591 intake & .571 exh lift with 1.7 ratio rockers this becomes about 630 intake and 604 exhaust lift with 1.8 rockers.
I would go with a good dual spring/Ti retainer.

regardless what it would be at 1.8 the spring is only seeing the duration and lift of the cam at 1.7
im just worried about the ramp rate of the cam
