Default who has installed a new timing chain? this is pissing me off

i installed a new timing chain today bc the old one was waaay slack. now this one doesnt have as much slack, but is still pretty slack. are these supposed to have some slack in them?

yes. the lt chains have way more slack then i was expecting. ive heard its to take the stress off the front cam bearing since the wp is cam driven but not sure.

Yes stock chains are "sloppy" most people choose to make way too big a deal over it.

If you want I can point you at a place to get an oversized crank gear to tighten up the chain a little.

whew! thanks guys. no thats fine if its a lil sloppy, just didnt seem right. but if its supposed to be like that then its cool with me. thanks guys!!

they make a 4 or 5 thou. under chain set.
