Default SLP MAF with vara ram air

I had a question. I know they offer a bellow kit for the mass air but I was wondering wouldnt I need two bellows because I have the high flow duct with the vara ram air. The stock MAF is already tight as hell and the SLP unit is physically bigger. Then comes my next dillema if I buy two bellows will it all mate up? Its like adding another inch or so to the intake track goin to the throttlebody is it not? Thanks for the help. Oh and my car is a 2000 if that helps.

Why are you changing the MAF? I have heard nothing but trouble from people using MAFs other than the stock unit. The stock unit is good for around 700 rwhp.

It doesnt matter if its good up to 700hp. I want more air flow with what I have now. Your stock manifold can be good up to 700hp but the FAST intake manifold flows more air and more efficently so you end up switching to a fast for an upgrade. 01's and up have 85 mm MAF's if Im not mistaken 00 and under have 75mm MAF's. The more airflow you have the more power you can produce so thats why I am switching.

Cool, I did not think there was a MAF difference between the years other than in 01 the Z06 had a screened MAF versus the 02 Z06 with no screen. It could easily be the case though and if the 00 and earlier is smaller it would be a good upgrade. I assumed you were getting rid of the stock MAF for the same thing by SLP.
