Default LT1 02 sim/LS1 (98-02) the same thing?

Just wondering if anyone knows if an 02 sim that is on a LS1 would work on LT1.

And before anyone says wrong forum...I asked this in LT1 section and it has 0 replies, and is almost 2 weeks old, but of course like 90 views for some reason...

No, they won't. LS1's use 4 pin square connectors. LT1's use 4 pin in line connectors. I had to ask this a few weeks ago as well. Sorry. =\

I just got a O2 simulator 2 days ago. Before I ordered it I read into it a little. From what I understand as long as the LT1 car you are putting it on is a 96 or newer it may work for you if all O2 simulators are the same way. The one I got said it will work for almost all OBD2 cars except for a few imports and they list the year as 96 or newer. To hook up the simulator I got you have to splice the wires from it with the wires coming from the harness of the car and old O2 sensors and solder them together. I would try and find out what simulator you have if you don't know already and see what they say about it if they have a site. Hope this helps you out, I am not good with electrical stuff.

Fairly certain now that real o2 sims for 96-02+ OBDII will work.

The oxygen sensors in the front of LS1's and LT1's are different though...

Here is some fact to back up my claim...
