Charging problems?
Why is it that when the gauge cluster is unpluged the alternator does not recharge the battery? This is the second f-body that i have owned that has done this. I am installing all aftermarket gauges so the factory cluster is not plugged in. Does anyone know how to bypass whatever it is that is causing this?

the single wire from the alt goes to the cluster, its one of those things that GM did to help keep people from pulling the clusters and driving them. just hook the wire on the alt to a switched power source.
