im in the middle of taking my tranny apart for a transgo kit and apon taking down the sep plate i noticed there is no spring what so ever for the fourth accum piston! whats w/ that?should i install one from the kit? please help.

I would not worry about it. Some of the later 4l60e units did not use a spring in this location. Just simply follow the directions from trans-go and you will be just fine. Vince
