help me build my engine (suggestions)
Heres whats up. My buddy has a motor that he pulled from his car. (99 TA) It was in good working order, but he is wanting to forge it to spray a pretty healthy shot. (200 shot). Probably go 346/7 forged. no big cubes.
--we were thinking about keeping stock crank since it should hold what hp he will be putting down
-what pistons? and size?
-what rods? size?
bearings? main caps? etc??
We are trying to basically get a parts list of whats going to be a good setup to take to the machine shop...
help is appreciated.

You'll need to hone the block .005" to clean up the sleeves and pistons to fit. Any of the popular forged pistons will work, but you'll want some steel top rings for spray. H beam rods from Eagle or Scat will be plenty for what you're wanting. Aside from these, you don't need anything special. Be sure and stud the mains for a little extra insurance.
You need to post the heads/cam setup you're planning on running. That will dictate what parts you'll need too.

I said get a head that breath better for what air that cam is capable of sucking in.
