Default Soft lock-up

I have a 2003 C5 with a level 5 4l60e 3.90's and a PT4000. The trans builder created a lazy lock-up and said if I wanted he would firm it up. He's been around a long time and has now disappeared. I'm planning on trying the following to firm up the lock-up. I'm not planning on locking under WOT, this is for street driving.

TCC PWM min duty cycle: Raise values 20% at a time. This should firm the lock?
TCC pressure apply rate: Raise 10% at a time. This should speed up the apply?

Does this sound right and is it safe?
Thanks
Joe

I was playing around with force motor current(positive),I have EFILive and I noticed when I lowered the current in the zero line pressure row the lockup was softer and when I raised the force motor current the lockup seemed to be alittle harder. Is it my imagination or am I right?................Paul

I don't know how that table affects the converter, but lowering values raises
line pressure and firms up part throttle shifts.
Have you tried what I posted? It will be a week before I can.

I have a 97 PCM it does not have those perimeters that you mentioned above.Thats the reason I was playing with force motor current,Trying to soften the 1-2 shift.I changed the springs with softer ones in the accumulator,But still hits alittle to hard.I'll try softer ones I guess and see what happens.

You might want to try D0701-2-3, base pressure by gear. I think it's a good idea to change springs first though.
