Default 1998 camaro z28. advise on getting more horse power

I have a 1998 Camaro Z28 convertible with an ls1 engine. i want to make my car faster and and get more horsepower. it's my first time upgrading my engine. i like speed and my car doesn't feel my need as it is. any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. I would start in external engine tech, and read up on boltons. do a few of those before jumping into internal mods

get some pacesetter (race style) long tube headers, true duals, and a lid

is your car an automatic or 6spd?

if its an auto or M6- FIRST MOD- Subframe connectors so your doors will still line up after racing.

some nitto 555R Drag radials
then a nice sized stall converter if its an automatic 3200-3500 (but ask the A4 guys to be sure) i am a M6'er myself

are you on a budget?

I am selling a lid if your interested. I would get some LT headers, y-pipe, exhuast and if your manual get you a short shifter.
