Default 07 Yukon what octane?

I bought a 07 Yukon six months ago and I've always used 93 octane, and was wondering if it was ok to run 87, or which octane gas is better for this truck.

whatever the manual calls for. if the truck is optimized from the factory to run on 87, you will see no measureable performance/mileage increase from running 93.

i dont own one, but i can almost guarantee it says to use 87. most likely the only GM truck to need 93 is the trailblazer ss.

I know Ford recommends 87 for trucks etc... I put 93 in if I'm going to be towing or hauling something. I would just read the manual and see what it recommends. Just use a reputable Gas. (Shell,Mobil etc..)

those things are tuned for 87 octane. There are no gains in economy or performance by using 93 in them.
