Any rare factory color(provided the car is in good condition) or a show quality one off custom paint job would command a higher asking price

shrugs, when I was shopping for mine i was ONLY looking for black. So no it doesnt make it more valuable per se, but if someone is looking for THAT color they would pay more over somethign they didnt want.

I like the blue TA quoted at the bottom of this page the best: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...62#post7020562
If your car is the white coupe in your sig pic, then I'd just leave it white. White is so easy to maintain. To up the interest in it, maybe add some chrome (if you're not anti chrome) wheels or polished aluminum (if you don't live somewhere where it rains all of the time and can stand to keep them clean) wheels instead. That would be cheaper than a color change.
If you're talking about the silver(?) convertible in your sig pic then I'd try to make it triple white. They are rare and look killer. I've only seen one cruising the streets in my life and it was so damn sharp looking.
That would be $$$$ though, because you'd need to do a white interior and buy a white top. I'm guessing that unlike white paint, keeping a white top clean would be a pain in the ***.

I'm not at all looking to change the color of my car. I'm asking this to prove someone wrong. They are saying that b/c their WS6 is black, it will bring in the most money for a T/A, besides SOM.

hehe yea I dont know about that. Red and Yellow are very hot as well. And a yellow with blacked out accents is one of the hottest things ive seen.. Anyways. Color really doesn't make it cost more or less.. like I said before.
But it its a Vert or not, or m6 vs a4.. those are what cost more.. and if it was a '00 or later.. and how many miles are on it.. I'd never pay more for a car just because of the color of it. UNLESS it was the one color I HAD to have. Deja Vu

as said before, there is no set price for specific colors, i've seen a rare color car sell cheaper than a base color car, it's all in the consumer's wants and needs, again as said before if somebody is looking for H.O. or SOM they would pay a couple more dollars to get that color if found versus a color you can find anywhere.

Ive seen black cars listed for more and sell for more often, I never said by a LOT or EVERYTIME though.
Im specifically speaking about black WS6 6 speed Trans Ams.
The main reason as stated before, is due to popularity and not settling on another color.

Ill tell ya its not really worth anymore but should be.. RED.. Just had some paint work done, and the guy after he quoted me $400 to paint hood and spoiler, charged me $100 more because the paint was much more expensive then the other colors!

PRISTINE black will usually bring the most money. Its known as the highest resale for the reason being that its never in really good shape...so if it is...then it sells higher. Dunno why lol
