Default balancer position not marked when removed

i didn't mark the balancer position to the crank position prior to removing it (not used to non key cranks and pullys)

how bad is that fot the internal balance of the engine ?
(i presume the balancer is balanced in the factory together with the crank)

thanks. Jeejee

Crank is balanced by itself. Just re-install dampner in any position, you will be fine.

I think the crank is internally ballanced. There's never really any mention in any of the write-ups regarding correct pulley install position. The only time I think it would matter is if you are installing a balancer with timing marks on it. Then, you would need to know where TDC is on the #1 cylinder I think.
