Default Quick crank torque question...

Hey, may be a dumb question but is there a way to torque an automatic transmission's harmonic balancer besides a impact wrench? I know with a manual transmission you can throw it in 6th and torque away but how do you do it w/ a automatic?

BTW, it's for a Lexus I'm working on, needs to be 181 ft lbs. Figure it's the same way though... Thanks.

there should be a factory tool to lock the engine,, just like the correct tool for ls1 engines is the tool that bolts in place of the starter to hold the flywheel/flexplate

Thanks. Is there any thing I could easily mess up just using a screw driver instead of the factory tool? lol

On LS1/4l60e I jam a crow bar up the inspection hole (on the bottom of the bellhousing ) and wedge it between the verter front cover and flex plate works like a champ everytime.

I found the "inspection window" for the fly wheel and jammed a screwdriver in there and it worked like a charm
