Won't go into any gear! I've got a 2001 SS with stock clutch, last week car started making loud sqeeking noise when clutch is engaging/disengaging, but the car drove fine, no slipping or anything abnormal. This morning I went out and started the car but I could not get it to go into any gear it was just stuck in nuetral. I have fluid in the hydraulics system, no evident leaking but I can't even get the car into gear if when it's turned off ??? Any Ideas what may be causing my problem, thanks for any info

The shifter does move side to side but not all the way over where reverse is and does go into the gates where the different gears are but does not want to actually notch into any gear. Like what would happen if you were not pressing the clutchany trying to shift, however the clutch feels fine it's not soft at all!
