Default Can rear o2's be used as front's?

I found out that my driver's side sensor is bad and I have the ones off the rears just sitting in a box. Thanks in advance.!

How did you find out for sure that one of your O2 sensors was bad?

I ask because I suspect one of mine is toasted. My car runs like crap once it warms up. And with the trial, 5sec. version of EFILive, I can see a big difference in the readings between B1 and B2. B1 looks steady for the most part, but B2 will jump around, up to 60% variance from B1. BTW, which one is which?

Anyway, those are only 5 second traces, so, I can't really be sure. What data did you use to determine the failure?

Hey Jero, sounds like you either have an exhaust leak or a bad O2. I'd swap the O2 first. VERY easy to swap. I also swapped out my fronts for my rears, and car runs just fine.

Bank 1 sensor 1 is drivers side front, bank 1 sensor 2 is drivers side rear, bank 2 sensor 1 is passenger side front, and guess what the other one is.

Ha! You haven't seen where my pass. side O2 is! Gotta remove the battery and tray and then inject novacaine into my knuckles

I'm gonna switch it out when I reset the exhaust flange gasket (which I think is leaking).
