Gonna finally fix my power window... Ok... Im tired of messing with my broken window, and I dont want to pay my local dealer with gold bars to fix it. So heres what Im looking for:
1. A guide to replacing the motor/arm/misc mounts
or;
2. Someone selling a real gm service manual.
I have all the part numbers and diagrams, but lack the knowledge to actually change it all out.
Any ideas?

Re: Gonna finally fix my power window... Well, my drivers side window motor is going bad. I need to replace it.
Here is what I found:

BTW, I was told that Autozone sells the motor cheaper than GM, and it has a lifetime waranty.

Re: Gonna finally fix my power window... i did mine today....one hint...USE THE NUT LOCKS THAT COME WITH IT...the holes are bigger then the supplied bolts so it will just fall out (found out the hard way)...and HAVE A FRIEND HELP...

Re: Gonna finally fix my power window... I have done my passenger and driver doors, the hard part is drilling the holes to get to the rivets. Everything else is easy..

Re: Gonna finally fix my power window... I can get em at a store a little north of here for 45.99 a peice and then I get the old 20 percent discount on em! Gotta love working in automotive retail.
I also have to replace the drivers side here soon. I can get a print out of how to take the windows out. At school we have a Sun Engine Annylizer and it has EVERYTHING about almost every car. I like that baby. It has torque specs estimated times to do something and everything.
