I am looking at getting a spring upgrade from 918's. I saw some post that said the Patriot Gold setup was noisy like a sewing machine and the Comps were quieter, is there any truth to this? I know the Patriots are less money but if they are noisy I would go with the Comps. Where would the noise come from, springs rubbing or is there a noise made from the compression of the springs?

My opinion is that duals are just loud in general. It wouldn't matter which dual you went to. I'm actually going to be using Patriot springs here soon. I used to have Comp 921's. I doubt there will be much noise difference between the two.

The 921's I had were pretty loud too
