Tell me about southern Wyoming Looks like I'll be moving to the area this August for work. What is there in Rawlins and Rock Springs? What about the state in general?

WIND,...........no no,.......REALLY!!! Wind,... freeken,... wind like you've never seen before. During the winter it blows right off the NORTH POLE and doesnt hit **** all the way till it hits,..........YOU!! 
I must say that if I just wanted to get away from it ALL there is no place Id rather go for a little while anyway!

Yeah, but you guys left out the warm glow at night that fills the skies....from the refineries!
OH, and they have some bad-*** coyotes there. Hit one dead in the side at close range with a 12 ga & all he did was yelp, roll over, get up, dust himself off & run away.
