Default 98 Trans Am work up

Just looking for some suggestions for what I should do with my T/A. Looks like as of right now I am going to see if I can get it up to Futeral. The car has a Moser 12 bolt 3.73s 33 spline axels bmr lower control arm, bmr torque arm relocation kit , bmr sub frame conectors, Hyper Tech power programed, borla cat back exhaust, suncoast creations ram air hood and K&N air filter, thunder racing 1.7 push rods, hardland sharp 1.7 roller rockers and comp cams super beehiv valve springs.

Why does the Hypertech hurt it? Only reason I really purchased it was because of changing the gear ratios so my speedo would read right.
