Default 71 Rebuild

I am about to start sanding down my second gen. and I was wondering what would be a good place to start. I havent done very much body work and I am curious what grit sand paper to start off with and little stuff like that. Thanks for the help.

Well I rarely post, but I am in the middle of my Jagaur XJS with a lt1/m6 project so i can offer some advice here. Complete to bare metal I found 36 grit sand paper to work best. Than use 80 grit to scuff it up for primer. I layed 2 coats of epoxy primer than block sanded it all out with a medium length block and 180 grit paper. I layed another 2 coats of epoxy and a sealer coat next. This is were I am at now...
