What valve covers are those? I looked on Beck's website, and I couldn't find any pricing info. What did that bad boy cost, and what else did you need to buy to make it work? Thanks!

intake is a BECK sheetmetal, valve covers are moroso # 68352. don't think i'm going to use the moroso ones, i have another set of sheet metal ones that don't have the coil bracket bungs on them. (going to relocate the coils)

What do you want from a cell phone? Just showing the manifold on the motor.

I paid 2350 with the N2O bungs installed. A few areas to note: The plenum top arrived bolted to the bottom, but was not sealed with any kind of a gasket. It needs to be seperated, and sealed with RTV. It does not come with a throttle cable bracket. Beck included an aluminum piece so that I could fab one up myself. As for gaskets, he will make it with or without o-ring grooves. The o-ring style left the area around the groove a little thin for my liking, so I went with a paper gasket. Felpro makes a great ls1/metal intake gasket now in several thicknesses.

Since I found a recent thread where someone is running a solid roller I have some questions for you.

What valve springs are you running?
What was involved in making them fit?
Just cutting the pockets for larger diameter springs?
What sort of lift are you running?
Did it necesitate longer valves, taller springs, or valve cover spacers?
What diameter pushrods are you running?
What set of et heads do you have?
What's the maximum RPM you'll be running?

Sorry for the bajillion questions. I've been looking into something similar recently and there isn't much data around about the specifics. Thanks.

Heads are ET 245s. Had them build them to solid roller specs. They say it is "their" spring, so I'm not sure who makes it. They rate it good to .700 lift. I bought the heads assembled. I'll be running around .675 lift. Plan to spin it over 7200. Won't know exactly where until tuning. As far as pushrods, I'm gonna try to fit a 3/8. Should know by next week. ETs don't require spacers, due to the raised rail. A stock cover may need to have the baffling removed.

I like the Moroso valve covers. It looks consistent. Just my opinion.

Keep us updated. The few other combos I've seen have been running the 3/8s pushrods, but they all had sheetmetal valve covers.

HAWT.

I'd go with the silver overs. They work so well with the intake. That intake is sexy too.

Definitely the polished valve covers, but all this begs the question:

Why go to the expense of a sheet metal intake and solid roller cam if you're only going to spin it up to 7200 rpm? It's above 6500 rpm where the sheet metal intake really shows it's superiority over a ported FAST.
