Default Racing seat bracket question

The seats in my bird is kinda flat out now. I'm trying to replace them with some aftermarket seats, those you can buy for $300 a pair (I know they're cheap but at least firm and new). C5 seat runs about $1k + shipping. And I don't want to put in something too old. The seat is killing my back now.

The question is, where can I got some racing seat bracket? Can I just take out the bracket from the stock seat, and then put them to the new seat? Anyone that have aftermarket or C5/C6 seats please post your pics and list what you've.

Thanx alot.

If you spend an extra $158 you can have a pair of real black leather (or real leather in any number of color combos) like mine (crappy camera phone pic):

They are Mad Racing Concepts seats (do a search on Google, you'll find them).

Then you can mount them to stock rails like I did at first:

Or, be smart and use the universal sliders with special mounting brackets so you will sit comfortably

I had a set locally made for $100. I've said all I can say about these seats without stepping on any sponsors toes so please PM me with any questions.
