a/c evaporator my a/c evaporator is leaking badly. a local shop wanted 850 to replace it which of course im not gunna pay. Where exactly is the evaporator isn't it in the back of the engine bay way under the dash? and how hard is it to change? I was gunna order one myself and try to install it and then take it back up there to get the system recharged again but if its rly hard then i will probably decide im finished w/ this a/c and just take off my a/c. It gets pretty hot around here but i dealt w/ it last summer w/ no a/c just have gatorade in the car lol. Thanks.

Its in the dash area, its kinda a PITA to get to, but can be done. Go ahead and take a shot at it and then juts recharge the system yourself too, all ya need is like 3 cans from autozone.
