Default Question about lowering a C5 on stock bolts....

I'm going to have my mechanic lower my vette friday but all the instructions I have found tell you to crank the bolts all the way for max drop. Can I just crank them like halfway to achieve a little drop? I don't wanna scrape on every bump in the road.

yea, you can drop them halfway if you want. Just make sure you take the same amount of turns out of the left and right sides. Lower the car down drive it a block or so, then measure the distance between the ground and the bottom of the fenderwell. After dropping mine down all the way on stock bolts I had to have it aligned.

I'd suggest having it lowered with you in the driver's seat.
