Default new TA license plate cover

So i just bought a license plate cover form a member on here, and need to paint it arctic white. i was wondering if im able to do this myself- dont want to spend like $75 at the body shop if i can do it for like 15. has anyone painted their own on here, and how? sorry if this is in the wrong forum, figured it kinda applies to both this one and the body work one.

thanks

It could be done, if you could get an aerosol can of Arctic White. Do a little research on Performancetrucks.net; there are several guys who've painted plastic parts of their trucks to match.

It just takes a little time and a little care.

I would think that you'd be able to apply the same prep/paint process that members use to do the CETA mod on their cars.

I painted mine pewter met to match my body color. Get teh paint code off the door and use duplicolor rattle can. just scuff it up a little and primer, then a couple of coats of color and clear if you want it. Mine came out good

I painted mine pewter also. I just sanded it down pretty good, then sprayed a couple coats using the duplicolor spray paint.
