Default Starting to think the Z doesn't need a hood

I have not seen much I really like out there that is much better than stock. The SS hood is not to bad, but I don't have an SS. Ultra Z is ok. The only one I like, is the one not being made.

HMM maybe I should skip an aftermarket hood and go right for the TC and shift kit.

You're right, there's not too much for aftermarket on the Camaros. There's the SS (looks stock, what's so special?) Ultra Z (I think it's cool), Big Block (looks cool, but I'd have to cut a hole in the front to make it look functional) But yeah, other than those (and I guess those fugly Raptor hoods :p) Who knows, you probly would be better off with go-fast mods. I went appearance first, but now I can devote all time and money to fast stuff

That is kind of what I am doing. Appearance first for the most part. Already have lid/exhaust. I need to baseline the Z at the track and then get busy with a couple of performance mods.

good plan
only appearance mods i want on my Z is subtle stuff, like wheels, nice stance, paint a few
pieces here and there
I personally like the standard hood more than the SS....same for the spoiler
too bad noone makes a Z28 hood in fiberglass or a composite material, that would rock
but i might consider a small cowl hood
