Default hp tuners a/f question?

i have a basically stock bolt 02 z28 long tubes etc. and right now i have stock timming but, my a/f is 12.7 across the rpm band after about 3000. im wondering if it would be better if i lean it out a bit on the top end to like 12.9 since i see guys with cams do it, or is there no real benfit on a stock cam and should i just leave it?

I'd leave it be. 0.2AFR points won't make much of a difference at all. It may vary from day to day too. So, if it wanders to the lean side by 0.4AFR points (a 3% error), you'll be at 13.1 instead of 13.3.

Different cars do react better or worst at the same AFR, you need to find the AFR that works best for your car. Between 12.5 and 13.1 is a good place to be on a NA car. Richer at peak TQ leaning to about 13 at peak HP. If you are FI then you will need to be alot richer.
I would say you are fine as you are, if you do a pull at 12.7 and a pull at 12.9AFR, you wont see much difference on the graphs.

when i hade differnet a/f i can feel it the pull change hard like when it goes from 12.9 to 12.7 at around 3500 its violent difference in how much harder it pulls but by 5100 it seems to struggle more is that bad?
