Default Opening taillight lens

Anyone ever do this? I tried a Whistler-style 200'F bake. Didn't even soften the sealant, and it actually warped the plastic. Good thing it was an extra set of tails, but now I'm on eBay bidding on a replacement.

So, anyone actually get the lens off?

Only way to do it is to cut it. I made a few sets of custom tail lights a couple years ago and that is the ONLY way to get them apart. A dremel works best.
