Default accessory questions

i have an 82 S10 i am putting a 2002 6.0 in i have manual steering does anybody know if anyone makes an idler pulley that goes where the power steering was or any suggestions on what to do.

just put a ls1 alternator & bracket ,and it should work fine

I made an adapter out of 1/4" aluminum and a aftermarket pulley.

do a search.. this has been asked before..I recall that you don't need a pulley.. just get a shorter belt and route it differently... and keep searching with different words.. you will find your information.

that wont work very well at all. there is barely any belt at all on the water pump. right now i am trying to figure out if there is a bracket i can use to move my alternator up to about where the ps pump goes. the alternator want to occupy the same space as the steering box in the el camino.
