$17.99 synthetic oil change Just a FYI, Autozone is running a special on 5 quarts of Valvoline full synthetic and a Fram tough guard filter for $17.99. I normally avoid Fram filters, but in my current financial situation I couldn't pass this up.

valvoline Valvoline synthetic meets GMs specs for Corvettes like Mobil1. Advance Auto runs adds for 2 for 1 at about every 3 months or so. For $5.88 you get 2 quarts so thats less than $3 a quart. Assuming a filter costs about $3 it is about the same price. Go for it.

Wow! i'll go ahead and buy that now, even tho my oil is due up in about 2k miles. Last time I was quoted at around 60 for an oil change at the Chevy dealership. (car is lowered so can't get it up on ramps at home)
