Question about headers(yea i know....) I found a sweet deal on some pacesetters. I've got an 01 z28, is there a chance that what I'm about to buy wont work? He either said they came off a 00 SS or an 02 SS. Is there a difference between those years? he is selling them because he can't use them with his FD ls1 swap.

Are they emissions or race headers? Meaning, do they have EGR/AIR fittings? If they are race headers, they will work on any 98-02 car. If they were emmissions headers from an 02 car, they will work perfectly. If they are emissions headers from an 00 car, I would just remove your AIR pump and buy some block off plates for the connections on the headers.

Thanks guys, I wasnt concerned with them bolting on to the car as much as having an empty egr tube. But thanks for the replys, I'll find out from him today what exactly they are off of.
