Thunder Racing & MTI

My friend got for me 2 cams , one from Thunder racing and the other from MTI

From thunder racing we've 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA

And from MTI we/ve X1 230/227 .591/.571 112 LSA

I want to see the different in power between those 2 cams .... the problem that we have no Dyno test here in Kuwait , so the only way that give me the different is the track time .

I had installed the MTI X1 cam , still we didn't start the car ....

Just one question , at what rpm I better shift ?? 6800 RPM ??

I'm no expert, but i researche the X1 cam pretty extensively, and seems like you would want to shif the x1 between 6800 and 7000 rpms. I would imagine around 6800 should be fine for the TR cam also.

With the Thunder Racing cam (230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA) I shifted at 6,800 rpms to 7,000 rpms. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
