I don't see why you can't use the Koni's on the lower perch with Sam's springs. It will give you more of a drop though. Maybe Sam will advise against doing so because the shock will have less travel on the lower perch.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but...
Sams springs lower 1.2"....lower purch is good for .75".
Nearly 2" of lowering doesn't leave much travel.
I wouldn't/won't do it.
And I just got my Strano Springs...and again--Sam said not to use lower perch.
Can you...YES. But having such limited travel will hurt ride, substantially.

My take on Strano's springs is they are for perfomance...the lowered look is a side benifit. I got them to improve my track times, and admit that lower looks better. The problem is too low is a detriment to both ride and handling. Suspension travel is needed for both.
Does lower look better, of course. But I learned my lesson on my lowered 04 Silverado. Looked cool as hell! But ride was harsh, and handling was greatly compromised by lack of travel.
If you are willing to sacrifice some ride and handling 4 the lower look, you could always do the lower perch/hose mod w the Strano's.

well i got 6 full suspensions installations under my belt that ive done myself. 4 of them on my own cars. all the rides were great . very smooth not harsh at all. Sams springs are great. but i just wanted the extra 1/4 in. to at least look obviously lowered instead of guessing. i dont know what to do now?
