with the SLP kit, where do you get the 12 volts? I would like to use the aux post right in front of the solenoid but the bitch is on tight as can be. Anywhere else? The factory instructions left the 12 volt part out!!!

I spliced into the orange wire on the lighter deal the one you plug a cell charger etc.

If you follow the SLP instructions you are supposed to use the positive post that your refering too. Keep in mind if you ever get a short in the switched ground it will turn your line lock on.

Get a locking nut from a hardware store and use that to hold the wire down. The post is long enough.
